Biography
Thirty-five years, one client at a time
Esther Klein is a hair colorist and stylist based in South Palm Beach, Florida. She works one-on-one with her clients at MAURICI® on South Ocean Boulevard, by the beach, and is a L’Oréal Professional Master Stylist & Colorist.
Her career spans 35 years behind the chair, first in Greenwich, Connecticut and then in Palm Beach. She trained with Vidal Sassoon and Paul Mitchell, has been licensed since 1995 in several states, and was voted Best Stylist in Palm Beach Best 2024.
Esther’s approach starts with listening. She takes her time to understand how a client lives with her hair, then shapes the cut and the color around the client’s hair, face and lifestyle. She mixes every color for the client’s skin, eyes and hair, and finishes color with a glaze for shine. Her work ranges from soft, lived-in blonde and dimensional brunette to color correction, gray coverage and blending, haircuts, blowouts, keratin smoothing, and hair for weddings and events.
She works with L’Oréal Professionnel color, including INOA ammonia-free color, and offers Kérastase treatments in the salon. Her clients have included television and Broadway performers; she does not name her clients, and she styles high-profile events.
